Losing Progress…

When I set out to lose weight I could only dream of my scale showing two digit numbers (in kg)! After sustained efforts and sacrifices, I reached them last fall and I expected to quickly continue down to my target weight of 85 kg (187 lbs). I mean, if I could dispose of almost 60 kg (130lbs) in one year, there’s no way a meager 5 kg (12 lbs) could ever stand in my way! Somehow they did…and still do! more

2014-08-17 14.44.26It’s been a long time since I’ve last been on a good, somewhat challenging hike. Turda Salt Mine

turda salt mine decorationsAfter leaving the historic citadel of Alba Iulia behind, we got under way to our next destination on the list of must see Transylvanian landmarks: the Turda Salt Mine. This is one I’ve really been looking forward to seeing ever since I made the plan to visit Romania, a few month ago. I heard from friends and other people whom have visited the mine that it is really worth the trouble, so I was really excited about the prospect. Of course, I saw pictures online and knew what to expect but being there in person is so much better! more

Alba Iulia

Hhistorical alba iuliaello everyone! Long time no see! I’ve been really busy lately with my job and all so I didn’t get to write any new articles for the blog. I will try to write three articles today in order to finish with my “Romanian trip special” and get back to writing about weight loss.
